1. Who We Are

Green Curve is an independent ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) analytics platform that provides informational tools, research commentary, and data aggregation services based on publicly filed BRSR (Business Responsibility and Sustainability Report) disclosures of Indian listed companies. Green Curve is not a SEBI-registered Research Analyst, ESG Rating Provider (ERP), Credit Rating Agency, or Investment Adviser.

2. Nature of the Service — Important Limitations

NOT investment advice. Nothing on this website constitutes investment advice, a buy or sell recommendation, a solicitation of an offer, or a recommendation for any security, financial product, or instrument. Do not make any investment, trading, or other financial decision based on information from this website.

NOT an ESG Rating. Green Curve's ESG Risk Scores, ESG Financial Quotient, and all related outputs are Green Curve's own analytical assessments derived from companies' publicly filed disclosures. They are not ESG Ratings issued under SEBI (Credit Rating Agencies) Regulations, 1999. Green Curve is not registered with SEBI as an ESG Rating Provider.

Our tools — including the ESG Quotient dashboard, GHG Calculator, BRSR Report Generator, BRSR Assurance Checker, Value-Chain Supplier Assessment, and Improvement Plan — are provided for informational and research purposes only. They are drafting and self-assessment aids, not authoritative regulatory guidance.

3. Permitted Use

Subject to these Terms, you are permitted to:

Access and use the website for personal, educational, or internal business research purposes.
Download and export tool outputs (GHG reports, BRSR drafts, ESG briefings) for your own internal use and BRSR filing preparation — always verify against original filings before submission.
Share links to Green Curve pages for informational purposes.
Embed Green Curve Analytics Badges on your own website or reports, subject to the badge disclaimer conditions displayed on the badge tab.

4. Prohibited Uses

You must not:

Reproduce, resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit Green Curve's analytical outputs, scores, or research without written permission.
Use outputs from this website as the basis for commercial ESG ratings, investment research reports, or regulatory filings on behalf of third parties without appropriate professional verification.
Scrape, crawl, or extract data from this website in bulk via automated means.
Represent Green Curve's outputs as SEBI-registered ESG ratings, investment advice, or certified compliance assessments.
Use the website in any way that violates applicable Indian laws, including the IT Act 2000, DPDP Act 2023, or SEBI regulations.
Introduce malware, conduct denial-of-service attacks, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems.
Use the BRSR Excellence Badge in a manner that implies SEBI registration, government endorsement, or third-party certification.

5. Accuracy of Information

We derive ESG analytics exclusively from companies' own publicly filed BRSR disclosures. While we strive for accuracy, we make no warranty that the data is complete, current, or free from errors. Company filings themselves may contain errors, omissions, or restatements. Always verify material information against the original filings on BSE, NSE, or MCA portals before relying on it for any purpose.

The BRSR Excellence Badge is based solely on our analytical assessment of publicly filed data. It does not represent an audit, certification, or assurance engagement.

6. Intellectual Property

All original content on this website — including research articles, analytical frameworks, scoring methodologies, software code, and visual designs — is the intellectual property of Green Curve and is protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 (India). The underlying BRSR filing data is in the public domain.

You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works from our proprietary content without written permission.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The website and all services are provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Green Curve and its affiliates, officers, and contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the service, including but not limited to:

Investment or trading losses based on ESG scores or analytics.
Regulatory penalties arising from BRSR filings prepared using our tools.
Errors or omissions in source company filings.
Data unavailability or service downtime.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed ₹5,000 (Indian Rupees five thousand).

9. Third-Party Links

Our website links to third-party sites (BSE, NSE, MCA, MoEFCC, CPCB portals, LinkedIn, etc.). We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of those sites. Links do not constitute endorsement.

10. Changes to the Service and Terms

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms of Use. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent revision. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of India.
